Shooting Stars Basketball Clinic

Develop the HABIT of GREAT SHOOTING techniques.

Lead by veteran high school coach Jack Fagan. Proper shooting of the basketball is his passion. Coach Fagan has been coaching at various high school levels for over 40 years. I’ve served as the varsity assistant at Pen Argyl and Wilson Area high schools as well as spending time as junior varsity and freshman coach at 5 different local high schools. Currently Coach Fagan is a member of the coaching staff at Notre Dame Green Pond Varsity Basketball team.

Coach Fagan's philosophy.....Shooting the basketball should be a natural, repeatable action that should result in a successful made shot more often than not! In other words, shooting should become a habit. We have many habits in life. Some good, perhaps some not as good. Experts say it takes many repetitions for habits to form and twice as many to change unwanted habits. The point being that if a proper shooting habit is developed initially, that is easier than trying to correct any bad shooting habits.

Each clinic will be approximately a one hour session focused on shooting techniques.
